City v Liverpool Post Match

That was a very nice performance against a team thats given us problems in the past, made them look very average. I think their goal was down to Demi not having enough match fitness yet/was running around like a man posessed for half the game and at the end looked pretty damned tired to me.

Thought Hart looked very assured and dealt well with everything, having a real challenger to his spot is showing us his quality again.

It's a bi-annual occurance to hear Rodgers saying how they were the better team against us, with a straight face. I think it's more to do with geeing his own players up than just utter delusion. Has anyone got the quotes so I can have a chortle?

Brenda is a classless twat.
No way did they dominate the first 40 mins. They had the ball in areas they couldn't hurt us and Joe made one save. Their twelfth man Oliver did his best to give them every 50:50 decision and several even more dubious ones and they failed to capitalise.
After thirty minutes or so we ran the show.
I am just sorry we didn't put 7 past them when we could have.
As for banging on about this "family club we have created at Lolpool" I am sick to the back teeth of hearing about it.
Guess what Brenda, WE ARE ALL FAMILY CLUBS you narcissistic conceited moron!
The only difference between our clubs is that you will find the wheels are still attached to your jaguar when you pay us a visit.

He is so nauseating it's untrue - I understand some stand up guy called Fritzl had a good family club as well.

Bum trannies all you like you fluorescent toothed fuck, you'll never bring class to your provincial wank stain of a history smear club.

Another professional performance, although I was screaming when first Nasri gave the ball away tamely from our corner kick, and then De Michaelis for his tackle immediately before the cross which led to their goal.

Gutted we even conceded against these bin dipping wankers, but elated we won easily in a thoroughly professional performance.

Six points out of six and we've played the barcodes away and the bin dippers at home awesome stuff.

Well done to all the players.

It looked to me as though Pellegrini knew they were going to come out balls to the wall, so he just told the boys, sit tight, weather the storm, once the game loses its edge, then we press. He didn't want it to be a firefight immediately.

He got precious little credit last year for winning two trophies while on a learning curve. This season he is a little older and a lot wiser, so fcukin watch out, pundits!

Some great one touch play done at walking pace at times in the 2nd half

Very tight game with Liverpool playing just one up top, but the goal changed the game. They had to come at us a bit more after that and commit more people forward, and when they did we picked them off really well

I thought our attitude was a bit worrying at the Charity Shield, but it's been really good these last two games.

We look really strong. Keep the foot on the pedal City

Daft c**ts...

Cheers.

I actually don't blame them. They've only had Carragher, Skrtel, Coates, Johnson, and Agger to really compare with recently so good defending must look somewhat strange to them.

Very very strange, having a paddy cause a centre half might be a bit physical, boring bastards..

Weird game, Thought we were a little poor overall. We stood off Liverpool too much and allowed them too much room too far deep into our half and then when we did get the ball, bar Jovetic there wasn't much movement and we passed the ball too slow. But hey, I'm not trying to be negative, if we can play poorly all season and win 3-1 then i'll be delighted. I'm merely pointing out that there's several more gears for us to find yet. I'm just imagining how good we can be when we do step into top gear. Frightening.
