They had more possession in the first 40 mins but then they would have as they chose to play with just one up front, and anyway, what did they do with the possession? I think they had one shot in the 1st half. 2nd half we battered them and they weren't in the game.

just got back, was weird watching the game being played on the screens during the match...very distracting.

I thought we put in a very professional performance and let liverpool tire themselves out in the first half, attacking at one end, defending at the other, contrasted with our slow build up play throughout and switching through the gears quickly in the final third.....

Jovetic played very well and the injection of pace with Navas and Aguero was very tactically astute by MP....he took the measure of Brenda and found him wanting..

I thought the Mickeys played really well and worked hard for the first thirty or so minutes and we were slightly off. Once the first goal went in though and the Silva, Yaya, Nasri triangles started to weave their magic it was just a case of how many. Jovetic, Vinny, Clichy, Zabs and for me only it appears; - Yaya all had excellent games.

The signing of Mario and the goals he brings should now be enough to ensure top 4 for them but they aren't getting within 10 points of us.
