City V PSG ticket Prices: Club Statement

Let's see what happens with season tickets for next year - that is the real cruncher and is the subject of guesswork.
My worry about the season ticket prices is if there was to be a freeze or any decrease, surely now would be the time to announce. When there's talk of protests and the chance that the biggest Europen tie we've had for years is going to have potentially thousands of empty seats, you'd think the club would be proactive.
The fact we haven't tells me the club aren't arsed either way.

You do know that that is really twisted thinking don't you?

Not really, over half the clubs in the premier league have already announced their prices for next year. We haven't as yet so with there being a bit of unrest at the moment it seems as good a time as any to try and placate the fanbase.
What's twisted about that?

Yes I am one - my ticket for PSG increased by about 90% and I am very unhappy about that. The main bone of contention, apart from single PL match prices which do not affect me, seems to be the CL. Two weeks ago people were moaning about £30 for a CL ticket against Kiev which compares well with the other English teams who WERE in the CL.

I don't think ST prices are any more important an issue than cup prices, single game prices, cup schemes, platinum scheme etc. We want to be a club that caters for all.

To be fair, for those that moaned about £30 for the Kiev game, got it spot on as the biggest priority for the club should be filling the stadium

Yes, even if they don't budge on PSG (which I do have faint hopes still), announcing favourable pricing right now be a great time to do it for PR purposes.

The silence seems to be a prologue to a story I don't want to hear.

They may be holding back until they know whether we will qualify for the CL next season. I've said we should be looking at big profits next year but that assumes a decent run in the competition (i.e. last 16). If we miss out altogether, those profits may be pretty well wiped out.

The fact that you state the club can't be arsed because we haven't published ST prices yet, it is only the 29th of March. How about you wait until they do publish them before judging anybody. (and that applies to everybody BTW)

So we'll be paying for the shithouse performances this year? Super.

They're not going to hang on until the end of the season (yes, I think it'll go to the wire).

Yeah, my last line was flippant and didn't really need to be there. The rest was valid I think.
