City V PSG ticket Prices: Club Statement

They go out of their way to try and prevent it. Calm down.

Don't go that far out of there way m8.

No Purchase history then no ticket, wouldn't have this problem then.

Selling on the open market then pulling the plug when its exposed isn't exactly going out if there way,
I think they don't give a shit untill it's exposed or it's obvious that it's out there for everyone to see then they have to respond..
Think in general they hope it goes unnoticed to make as much money as posable and hope it passes without incedrnt i e all the other games we have played in Europe over the last few years where there have been away fans all over the ground.

You do wonder what the process is. Someone creates an account, logs in then buys a ticket. You'd imagine that the purchase process might involve something that could be set which checks if that supporter number has bought before or has existed for a while. But obviously there is no such process at point of sale, or anything that checks addresses. So I'd guess that a valid customer number gets you a ticket online, then there's a retrospective, back-office check against purchase history/address where necessary.

Booking history shouldn't be difficult. I tried to buy for West Ham v Millwall in the cup a few years ago (solely interested in the volatile atmosphere) but I couldn't get one despite having an East London address. It required history.

No Purchase history or membership for 12 month then no ticket,

Correct, City will sell to anybody wheather it causes trouble or ruins the atmosphere or not . They don't give a shit about their own fans on Champions league nights.

Arguably its the other way round
Some fans don't give a shit about the club in the Champions League yet expect them to keep their precious seats empty so they can moan about the Emptihad and the shit atmosphere on their tvs

So I'm in the south stand & I don't take up my seat for the PSG game, you think it's right that seat should be available to a PSG fan ?

When City pass tickets to Uni students etc are they given a Supporter ID? Or can that person kick off in his free/cheap seat without anyone having a clue who he is?
