City v West Ham CoC Semi-Final 1st Leg Post Match Thread

If we can nick an away goal in the second leg we should be fine as they would need 8 to win
 
The wonderful thing about the game is that none of the six goals was a scrambled mess - every single goal was outstanding and showed an incredible team chemistry and rhythm.
 
Aside from the obvious candidates, I thought Clichy was excellent tonight, the best I've seen him this season. He looked sharper and played in a much more positive way, taking the initiative going forward as well as defending very well.

11 of our players registered at least one key pass in that game. Everyone bar Pantilimon, Kompany and Garcia. The movement and workrate was absolutely first-rate.
 
Tempo was simply too much for West Ham and relentless. Don't think we've played with such intensity for almost the whole game this season. Other teams have had spells against us, but that was quite frightening tonight.
 
Superb City.
Eased up by taking off Yaya, Beast & Silva but still kept pressing. Perfect result means we can take it very easy in 2nd leg.
