From the front row of the Doug Ellis, it looked like this to me;-

Given - 7
Bridge - 8 (Excellent again. Wish some fans would give him a break)
Lescott - 8 (Best game so far. Will keep improving as defence gels)
Toure - 7
Zabaleta - 7
Bellamy - 9 (Brilliant. Player of the season so far)
Barry - 6 (Very average tonight. Worried himself out of the game??)
De Jong - 8 (Awesome again until injury)
SWP - 5 (Poor again. Not really turned up yet this season)
Adebayor - 7 (Quiet game but kept calm to set up goal)
Tevez - 7 (Still getting match fitness. Top quality player)

Subs;-
Ireland - 7 ( Did well but like SWP needs to get back to the player we know he is).
RSC - 5 (Obviously not match fit. Being half-blinded didn't help)

I have to say i think Ireland made a big difference to the game. Thought the ref was good too.

Given - 7 Looked a bit uncertain during the 2nd half just before we actually scored. I think our marking was as much at fault for the goal as he was. Having Barry marking Dunney was a bit of a mis-match.
Zab - 7 Looked good i thought. Didn't come under much pressure, looked comfortable.
Toure - 7 Pretty solid.
Lescott - 7.5 Best i have seen him. Dealt with Agbonlahor pretty well.
Bridge - 8 One of the best games for City i would say.
De Jong - 7 He has had better games, we looked far more dangerous after he was replaced.
Barry - 7 Mopped up alot of loose balls, passed the ball well.
SWP - 6 Tracked back well, had some good runs, but took some heavy tackles, not his best night.
Tevez - 6 Industrious with little impact on this occasion. Had a few shots at least.
Adebayor - 6 Bit harsh to criticise him or RSQ for now as he may of lost some sharpness. Still he got himself in positions and supplied the goal.
Bellamy - 9* Best player on the pitch by quite a bit i thought. Got in behind a few times and caused problems for Villa.

Ireland - 8 Thought he made the difference between 1 and 0 points. Good slick passing and we looked so much more dangerous!
Roque Santa Cruz - 6 Tried to get into the game but struggled really. Looked quite strong, but it is unfair to judge him until he gets back some match fitness!

The way Bellamy is playing though i struggle to see Robinho getting back on the left!
