City Vs Borussia Dortmund (CL) Post Match Thread

As we've lost 5 times in a row against Dortmund... :-( $£%!?%
Ok... City played poor. Especially in 2nd half...
But not because of City playing so bad but Dortmund playing so good!!! Believe me and don't underestimate other teams (probably as last year Bayern) as you are champions of the best league in the world...
Dortmund will also be able to win away at Real Madrid!
And when you've to win at Dortmund we'll be lost as today...

It's ignorance. they don't realise that there's football outside of the Premiership, and we've just played the German Champions who thrashed bayern 5-2, not Cluj

I'll accept we didn't play as well as we could. But there's no balance at all.

Nasri wasn't all that bad today , its just that we played him OUT of his position once again . He isn't a wide player , If we want a wide player then we should get Jovetic in the January window . i don't think that would happen though as we have Sinclair now plus there are more important positions to fix , We should work on the Defensive midfield .

he wasn't bad, he was the next thing

After seeing Joe Hart almost lose it in his interview and seeing Mancini almost smile and joke about that travesty of a performance... I am going to go ahead and say it:

If City go out any sooner than the Quarter Finals and don't look odds-on favorites for the EPL, Mansour needs to sack the shit out of Mancini. These players (except Rodwell, and Nasri), that have been assembled for this amount of money, DESERVE to be playing CL football and challenging for everything.

Silva, Toure, Aguero, etc not playing CL football past the group stage and being forced to play on Thursday in the Europa League is not acceptable.

Dropping out of the CL in the group stage two years in a row (Regardless of how tough the group is) and dropping out of the League Cup in the 3rd round is unacceptable. Fucking Tottenham managed by Droopy face made it to the knockout stages their first time out.

absoloute shite

(...) If it wasn't for that **** we'd have bought RvP, Hazard and Thiago Silva this summer and would be virtually unbeatable. Instead we get Rodwell, Sinclair & some kid from Fiorentina.

So, RVP-Hazard-Thiago would be better then Dzeko-Aguero-Silva - particularly in game tonight, or any other night ?

This

Hart was immense.

Zaba had a good game I thought.

Aguero started brightly but tired.

Pretty much everyone else was fucking woeful.

That's the worst City display I've seen for a long, long time. If it hadn't been for Hart we'd have lost that by 3 or 4 goals.

Special mention goes to Yaya who simply must have borrowed someone elses feet tonight, if you'd never seen him play football before you'd be forgiven for wondering whether he'd get a game for a pub side.

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
should have started or should have bin the first sub.

Spot on! he should be starting in midfield before Rodwell and Garcia for me never given the chance I don't know why

Absolute bollox

We do this every time. Play Milner, play Milner. Then Milner plays and everyone realises that he is a midfielder with no passing ability. The cycle repeats when Milner sits for a month. Fans forget his limitations and we're back to "Milner, Milner" when some other Yaya sidekick with the same problems looks poor.

Every time we draw or lose its bring in Milner when we win no fucker mentions him. At the end of the day he is the most limited midfielder we have but hey ho he runs round like a headless chicken but gives 100% fucking great he is English

Yaya had a poor game but it happens, I´m more concerned of Kompany tbh, all over the place at the moment.
