There's little chance of us putting out our strongest side from the available squad as that will mean a second half entirely of inexperienced kids, he will surely mix it up. It's not like we need to get the core of a settled first team upto scratch and familiar with one other, we did that last season and almost all of them are still on holiday. We will effectively be going into the season with zero pre season under our belts which actually could mean the community shield has some use for once.
 
How much are Americans being charged for these youth team games? All seems a bit pointless to me. Why didn’t they just start the season a bit later this year ? Nothing much on next summer is there?
 
Hardly going to be a classic but it'll be worth a watch to see how some of the younger players do.
