City vs Palace - Post Match Thread

All in all, happy days. First half maybe didn't play so good, but really enjoyed the second. Showed quite a few glimpses of the City we all want to see.

4 scored, clean sheet, back at the top of the league for now. Nice afternoon. Happy days.
 
Good performance.That energy and determination from the start has to be continued for the rest of the season and if the team can sustain that good vibe and energy, then it will be a very good second half of the season. Special mention for Delph, man of the match and also Pellegrini for his management of the team in this game.
 
Last couple of games we've managed to defend our defenders for a change, not forcing them to do much at all and as a result we've kept clean sheets. Makes such a difference and we'll need to keep doing it if we're going to win anything this year. Great to see Sergio back and in business as well, ominous. Spot on from Pellegrini this time
 
Overall brilliant! Delph and Fernando did very, very well.

Thought we were really poor in the 2nd half until we scored the 3rd to put the game to bed.

Never got out of second gear, really, but took our chances and were clinical (for once).

Can't believe how unselfish Sergio was with David's goal! What other striker on a hat-trick would do that!? What a man!

MOTM was Delph for me! What a goal, as well and some lovely feet at times.

EDIT: Also well done Pellegrini. I've criticised him a lot (and with good reason) but today he made all the right decisions. Starting 442 was a great call. Well done.
 
Good result, but we probably played better on Wednesday night in truth. We seemed to score at the most opportune times, though, which is a good sign.
