City vs Southampton FA Youth Cup 5th round

Cheers for that mate, looking forward to seeing them again, not wanting to put the kiss of death on them, but if they get through that are the semi finals not shown on itv 4 usually or is that just the two legged final?

I think ITV4 usually show a leg from each semi-final and both legs of the Final. It would be great for the kids though if City promoted these games (quarter-final onwards), great experience for them if they get to play in front of a few thousand. I couldn't make tonight but will definitely be looking out for future games.

Yeah. I've heard since about The Newcastle game.
I kind of knew I was wishing for too much. Had hoped they would be travelling to London.

Agree. Their time will come.
Always impressed by Sancho, but really impressed with Foden who I've seen less of.

Anyone know much about Muric.
I've seen him twice now and although he hardly had s save to make, I have liked the confidence and presence of the guy. He's a decent height and uses it well.

Don't know much about Muric either but he does seem to have a presence about him I agree and he is seriously confident with the ball at his feet.Looks a top prospect

I've seen Muric a few times earlier on in the season and he made some great saves and looked hugely confident in possession. Reminds me of Neuer. Been mightily impressive so far, and he already looks huge too. He'd dwarf over Bravo already physically.

Muric is one that I would put in the really outstanding category, Lati being another, along with Sancho, Foden and Diaz. That's not meant to be a slight on the others either, Dele-Bashiru, Duhaney and Diallo have been excellent when i've seen them, Smith and Francis also very good and tough to judge Nmecha given the injury he's coming back from. Gonzalez is also finding his feet now as well. Really impressive set of players.

Proud of every one of them, fantastic performance.
Everybody notices the strikers and they were brilliant but I thought Mat Smith was outstanding tonight.
I thought they (defence) were all excellent after a shakey start, but not seeing the likes of Smith and Francis as much as the rest of you it's hard to gauge as it looked too easy for them.

I have seen more of Latibeaudierre and Duhaney and have liked what I've seen.

Also thought Diallo and Dele Bashiru were very solid which let's the creative players do their thing.

The team look so well balanced and really are a cohesive unit.

I really hope this is the year they go all the way and beat Chelsea in the final.

What I liked particulary about Smith was he was up against one of Southamptons best players who is very aggressive, Smith didnt shirk the challenge and played great football too

Muric is as brave as a lion that lad who clattered in to him but came off worse
