City vs Sunderland pre match thread

One of our more recent bogey sides, although we laid the SOL part of that to rest a few weeks back. We've already lost 7 points (from memory) at home so far this season. We can't afford to drop any more. Get our best available team out, even if it means playing the stiffs against Wednesday next weekend. A comfortable two goal win (like we were on course for at HT today!) is the requirement.

Hopefully the players will be hurting from that atrocious second half today. Drop Kolarov, play Yaya if he's fit and we should be okay for 3 points.

These home matches are critical. Let's hope we start doing as well at home as we've done away and make sure our team gets full and loud support from the stands when winning or losing. We don't need any more lessons after tonight.

Simply cannot drop a single point at home no matter who is up against. Need to be ruthless in this match and hopefully lesson learned that do not take foot off the gas even if 5 up.

We all know these cnuts are our bogey team. If we put in the same display that we did v Burnley, we will get humiliated again.

It is going to be very difficult especially with the lack of focus and tiredness in the second half against Burnley and the lack of fit strikers but I am going to remain positive that we are going to get back on track.

When have we been 'humiliated'?

Throwing away a two goal lead at home against a team that won't be in our division next season.

Hart
Zaba kompany demi clichy
Dinho toure
Milner lamps silva
Jovetic
Give navas, Nasri, Mangala a break and play jovetic quick before he gets injured again!!!!

Need to put out best team and hope that they learned their lesson today. AK out for Clichy and Yaya back in... Id rest Navas as he has worked his socks of last 2 games and play Jovetic.
Need to get 3 points and put Chelsea under pressure going into Spurs!

Have a feeling we'll beat these by a good number of goals then spurs we'll do us a favour later. A few changes will be needed and If Jovetic, Toure and Kompany are fit I'd go with;

Hart
Zabaleta
Clichy
Mangala
Kompany
Fernandinho
Toure
Silva
Nasri
Navas
Jovetic
