Just been on the FAWSL website, or it might have been BTs FAWSL website(!), and we get a mention! But only in that CFC Ladies are keeping the pressure on! There is also one match that doesn't feature a match report! One guess each as to which team doesn't yet have a match report. The agenda for Season 16/17 appears to be gathering momentum.
Might just be because our game was the late TV game, and the others finished an hour or more before ours (there were 11 added minutes too, due to 2 fairly serious injuries), BBC have decent report on it.

Gret result, and we played very well, very good support too, quite loud.

Why can't male footballers be as hard as the women? You get some really heavy challenges in the women's game and they just get back up straight away.
Because getting hit by a male footballer is like getting hit by a middleweight boxer these days...

Manchester City Women striker Jane Ross: "We're very happy, it's always difficult to come here, but getting that early goal really settled us and we were able to go on from there.

"We performed really well in the first half, we were clinical with the chances we created and we worked on that. We went out with a game plan and executed it well."

Player in her first season recognises it's a difficult place to go even though she's never been there before ;) lol

Could players also be less boring in their post game interviews. Almost pointless having them these days, so sanitised, goes for the men too.

It's not really the players' fault, they get so much media training now at the bigger clubs that I can imagine they get wary of saying anything controversial. Remember the hoo-ha after Micah muttered "fucking hell" when interviewed after that goal at Villa Park?
