City youngsters going on loan to Anderlecht .

If Sandler can't stand out at Anderlecht then he is very little chance here.

Same idea goes for the current EDS (all of whom have apparently been retained).
Most of them were really young last year so perhaps they got a pass, but now they will play U21 football again, they MUST impress now, they cannot use the excuse of their age because the vast majority of them are now 17-19, as opposed to 16-18 where they were basically U18s playing up a level.

Anderlecht is a great opportunity: a major club who wish to return to former glories, under the leadership of someone who has great respect for our club and the style of play that Pep has brought to the English league. I see no negatives whatsoever and the example of Angelino shows that this is not the end but the beginning for a player with the right attitude and ability.

Perfect move for him. A decent standard, but most importantly he will get the full attention of Vinny. As his manager and his centre back partner. He can learn a lot.

I think the coaching + style of play + consistent game time at Anderlecht would serve youth development better than loan to a club that has a higher level of competition but inferior coaching /differing playing styles, like say a random Championship side - if that makes sense.

But everyone develops differently - at the very least we can be damn sure nobody is giving less then 100% every day with Vinny and Bellamy in charge.
