City youth policy would be rocked by Brexit

That sounds like good news all round for English football

Likes of Brahim top talent but will likely block pathway for other English lads in the academy coming through!

A talent like Brahim deserves to be in any academy anywhere regardless of nationality. He raises the bar for the English lads so a talent like him not being around is not a good thing for English football.

Brahim would block the progress of absolutely anybody anywhere in the world, he is the real deal. We are very lucky to have him.

This would seriously hamstring English sides when compared to their European counterparts. City would be restricted in who they could attract to their academy whereas the likes of Barca, Real etc can still bring in anyone from around Europe. With the squad restrictions as they currently are we'd find it more difficult to field a top quality side, and the quality of our academy graduates would surely suffer if we are restricted in who we can actually bring to the academy in the first place.
