City's €140m summer will "stun English football"

With Falcao signing for Monaco (along with every one else it would seem) Thiago linked with the rags, Lewandowski to Bayern it now seems difficult to see where we are going to spend £140m

Perhaps it is just

Cavani, Isco and Navas?

The Brazilian from Shaktar?

£140m......no way hose A.
Anyone who believes City will spend that amount has not been following the club.

Cavani 50mil
Isco 30mil
Navas 20mil
Fernandinho 20mil

That would be £120mil approx and wouldn't be a bad shout. Add in a couple of cheapies and we'd be set.

Of what? Speculation and hope about world class players possibly playing for City? Yeah, sounds shit that!

Let's go back to the good old days of Bradbury, £3m super signings and not alot coming as a result.

To be fair Bradbury had a better first touch than Dzeko and cost a lot less!
Fucking hell, poor kid is doomed if fans think Badbuy was better than him!
(I was convinced Bradbury was our 'Shearer' after going to Burnley pre-season to watch his debut. Loads of Red Stripe was sank on the way, but he got a hat trick and that, combined with said Red Stripe, had me convinced he was going to fire us all the way).
Deary me.

You're not the only one, to be fair to Bradbury, he tore us apart when he played against us too (and plenty of other teams too), I could see exactly why we bought him, I just think the price tag was too much for him to deal with ultimately.

That and the expectation from joining a bigger club. He was pretty much pressure-free when he went to Pompey. I think Leeds were after him too when we were, another big club. Fair play to him, he got his 10% signing on fee, probably coined £15k a week here and then buggered off when it was clear he couldn't handle it. Not a bad old pay day at all really.

Yes it was all probably too big of a step for him, pretty sure he signed for Portsmouth straight from the Armed Forces did he not ? Was always going to be an issue to be honest looking back.

Yeah he did, and then hit jackpot with his performances - no pressure. The pressure came when he was expected to do it after signing from another club for big money, rather than just coming out of the army and playing for Pompey. He's probably in the majority to be honest, who would fail to handle that pressure. At least he gave it a go though.

Who will we sell to raise the funds?
