City's mind blowing talent

Really good article I just hope in the future some of these lads with outstanding talent get the opportunity in out first team.

Does anyone know what the fee was for Brahim was this article says £200,000 but I remember itv constantly mentioned he cost £2,000,000 in the semi final.

What a brilliant article.

Although is Brahim "in the silva mould"? I Wouldn't say so.

Also annoying that of all the u16s the mention possibly the only one (sancho) brought in from outside manchester.

But if they were going to mention him - they could point out he's now playing for the u16s then running across to the u18s bench to play for them as well.

But it is nice to see a nice article on the academy.

I wouldnt say Brahim is in the Silva mode either (leave that comparison to Manu Garcia) But there is the prospect that he could become an even more special player for City than Silva was or is! My compariosn is more Kinkladze but with a real heart.

Pretty great article and looking forward to seeing how these players develop.

There's nothing I'd like more than watching a MCFC team that's dominated by CFA trained players.

Temporarily moving this article into the main forum as its being talked about on other threads that are then going off on a tangent.Cheers.

Apparently 10 of our fantastic u16's are putting pen to paper on new deals and will be included in the u18's next year.I don't know the ones that are leaving but, regardless, the majority are brilliant talents so this is awesome news.

Are we losing any stars?

nice piece, how good would it be to get young Doyle in the first team that would be so very special for us older blues, will have to keep an eye on this lad and hope he makes it.

I'd imagine Wilcox saying that we're going to play young sides in the league next season (as per CityWatch) is directed towards those kids/parents still wavering.
