CityShop hoody sizes?

Quick question........the Zip up hoodies in shop look slightly narrower fit than the non-zip ones in the pics? I know all the umbro stuff was small for stated size....is this the case now or not?

Brother is 44 chest and wears large normally ....but needs XL if narrower fit.

Looking at the Sherpa/Technical charcoal-marl ones if anyone has one that can help?

They are a pretty narrow fit , would suggest XL

Does he like turkey, ham, stuffing etc?
If so an xxl might be required
