The sabre rattling is so comical. Oliver fuckin Dowdin talking tough. The government has known the issue with football governance in the UK for years and has done fuck all... now they are trying to talk tough. They will do fuck all.

So many offering an opinion now, and people with zero knowledge of the game.

Same people who were happy to turn a blind eye to United dominating the league for 20 years, Liverpool before that.

We are truly jumping the shark now.

It's obscene that a footballer can earn £300k a week, but it's fine if it's just a £100k a week.

It's fine City has outspent most of our Premier League rivals to dominate them, celebrate all those trophies, yet some of those same people are now sticking it to the club because it might impact Everton and West Ham.

all what you describe has been going on since day dot, owner investment and long may it continue
what has changed is the closed shop element and that has to be stopped.
we have no love for uefa but at least its sporting merit that counts, of course there is are reforms and revisions to be had but at least sporting merit is in play

Well,well,well...
After this superleague flop divertimento may be we could go back to the important stuff: semi.
On our side we play today in national cup, Verratti is injured (as often), Marquinhos still out, Mbappe should rest and Neymar will play : means he certainly get injured by a butcher on the pitch under the eyes of the referee.

How is KDB?

Out tonight
May be available Sunday
Should be available Wednesday

There are so many reasons for PSG and their fans to be optimistic.

Where to start?

- Verratti, Navas, Diallo and Marquinhos should all be back on the training ground by the end of the week
- MBappé was rested today
- Neymar played and was unscathed despite some rough treatment
- Everybody will be fit next week
- They play mid-table Metz on Sat'day.

Now City, OTOH,
- have a cup final this weekend
- KDB is injured
- Sterling's in the doldrums
- No Lewandowski-type no 9
- Stones vs. MBappé...
- Played the weakest opponent in the last 16
- Struggled for three halves vs. the team ranked 5th in Germany
- Lost recently vs. Leeds & Chelsea, failing to create many chances
- Pep's overthinking
- Recent history vs. French clubs (Monaco, Lyon)

If you add PSG's successful counter-attacking style of play vs. possession teams (see Bayern in the previous round), PSG definitely have the edge.
