Claims to fame

Noel Gallagher bought me a pint. I played golf with Woody Harrelson and learned a valuable lesson about women. I turned down a job offer at the top of Trump Tower that was accepted by a man subsequently shot by the Russian mob on the same job six months later. I went to church with just me, the royal family and their security. I made a movie with Hootie and the Blowfish, Billy Crystal, and President Jimmy Carter. I've drunk Guinness with r.sole of salford too, but one doesn't like to brag.

Played golf with Andy Richie (top bloke) and Freddie Trueman, not at the same time. Freddie was an odd bloke, had a good chat during the round and afterwards asked him was there a chance he could let me have an autograph for my dad who was a huge fan. He said no problem and in fact he would sign one of his books for me. I thought that was really good of him until he asked me for a tenner for the book! I actually only had a £20 note and he said he would give me my change at the dinner afterwards. He never did.............

BTW He didn't have many good words to say about the Pakistani cricket team or nation come to think of it.

Saw the Ramones at GBGB's early 80,s...Blondie were all at the bar...
Met Thomas Hearns @ The Kronk...late 80's.

Not me, but in the very early 80s my cousin was heading home on leave from the army. He was sat on a train reading a Michael Moorcock book and when he looked up, Moorcock was sat right opposite him. He had a nice chat and got him to sign it.

I'm willing to bet I've had the worst hangover than anybody on here.

A few years ago I was pissed on Paddys night and staggered out of a pub wearing a daft paddys hat. Because of the hat I didn't see a fully laden 38 ton shell oil tanker that promptly ran over me. Waking up the next morning in hospital unpleasant.

The luck of the Irish needs revised. :)
