I wonder whether the training pitches are too hard currently which has contributed to the injuries to De Bruyne and Bravo?
Very dry summer and hard pitches, also huge mistake in selling Hart and Gunn 1 should have enough been kept.
Now we're only an Ederson injury away from a crisis.

Nope the pitches are kept pretty much the way they want them, being watered as often as necessary look at the pitches they are normal colour of green whilst in the CFA the surround area the grass is brown Modern pitches are surprisingly hard. KDB’s injury is more than likely the lack of rest and recover due to the World Cup, probably there will be more than normal this season

That injury could well have ended his career a while back. Hopefully he will make a full recovery, our medical team is second to none.
Get well soon Claudio, I’ve never been your biggest fan, but no City player deserves that injury, it’s horrific.

I’d like to echo those sentiments but it’s a long way back. I’ve done both achilles, one snapped the other ruptured and they’re never right after that.

It's ok saying just play Ederson. What about mental fatigue when we are playing every 2 days and he doesn't see his wife and kids? What about when he wakes up with the shits and can't play that day?

When the campus was built there were huge underground water storage tanks installed so that recycled rain water is used for the pitches

I'm pretty sure that Pep, Tixi and Sorano might have thought of this eventuality and will have something in mind. Even if it's if they think Grimshaw is the answer. I recon they know what they are doing

I've just read that Schmeichel played every game for United barring four league and three League Cup fixtures in 1998/99, the most of any United player that year; and they won a treble!

So I assume it's possible for Ederson to give it a go. I think Pep would happily play a younger keeper in the Carabao Cup if he was insistent on not playing Ederson.

We'll probably get a back up keeper anyway, if not now certainly in January

In 2003 Seaman and Weaver ended up injured after selling Nash keepers and it almost relegated us - in 2010 a similar story with the keepers.

Didn’t Sunderland lend us someone in the end? Someone injured away at Arsenal or similar. So vague to me now. Given was playing around that time.
