So, DH in his training report said there were a couple injuries in training today. The Mirror is reporting that Clichy hurt his knee in training today. Hopefully its not too serious, i thought he was really showing promise last week.

Either way, it's the beauty of having a squad like ours, Kolarov comes in and all is well in the world.

He was great last week. Really gave everything that he had.

Aleks has stepped up though also and seems to have settled in this year. Amazing what a year with your team mates does.

I think I would have gone with Kolarov anyway as he is taller (Davies). He needs to get tougher and have the, "over my dead body" sort of attitude though. Mancini is the man to coax it out of him.

You're an idiot, not a proper top 4 footballer? What was he last year when we had the best defense in the league , with him starting, and also carrying an injury? Was he not "proper" while shutting down the left side of the pitch in semi final against the rags? I am so sick of the Kolarov haters on here.

I think Kolarov would have played this week anyway so no worries there.

Give it up mate, this guy just has a hard on for hating Kolarov, he did all last season.

Let it go.

rubbish, he was iffy at times last year in his first season, well gash at times but he had a bad injury and had no time to "settle in".you saw the improvement as the season wore on.
i think he'll carry that form forward in to this campaign.

Yeah, I don't get the hate thing either.

Enough times, last season he was the last man to get past, when strikers were through, putting his body in front of Hart or being the man on the goal line to prevent goals! And yet he gets a capital slating by people and I don't know why!

What De Niro says is true, so taking that into account, his first season was pretty good!!

That ^^*

I'd rather play Zabaleta at left back over Kolarov, at least you know he's going to make an attempt at making a tackle.

I think some people on here are being too critical of Kolarov he had a difficult start to the season last year but he picked up towards the end and impressed, he played really well against the scum in the semis of the FA Cup and against Stoke in the final, and this year he knows the score of the league and will only get better and better

Neither did Aguerro, but havent seen him wandering about about like a lost soul for a year before finding anything that resembles form.....

Kolarov cannot head for sh*t though he was at fault for a few goals last year and we also seem to be weak from that side as well when he plays.

I was surprised that Clichy started ahead of Kolarov. Two quality players with different strengths and weaknesses
