Pat Hingle also does a great job in the role of the judge -- nearly Clint's equal.

The wife and I had a binge of Clint the other night and I can't say he's done a truly shocking film in all the years he's been active as either an actor or a director. The last film we watched was Million Dollar Baby, it was excellent.
