could be along the lines of this mock up done early in this thread minus the crosses seing as the clues are rivers, ship, rose & 1894

or the original badges with the date between rivers and ship like the MCFC on the current shield with a single rose at the bottom pf the round instaed of the dot

It looks like gausion blur has been used on photoshop to make the whole image blurry. The white text is pretty clear, but the date at the bottom is completely illegible.

Apologies if it's genuine George, but I'm not convinced. Could you tell us exactly where in Fallowfield this is?

You able to confirm this @IanBishopsHaircut ? It doesn't look like Wilmslow Rd to me. Can't think of a car park like that near Tesco Express. It looks like a chruch car park, can't think of anywhere in that area that looks like that.

I'm guessing you've done that bus route a fair few times, if you look closely at that photo can you think of anywhere near that Tesco Express that looks like that? Fallowfield is a nightmare for parking and traffic, I've never noticed a half empty church car park!

Haven't seen the poster myself but that looks like Wilmslow Road near Tesco Express to me. Others can check it out, it is on the left before where Alexander Sports used to be as you are heading for Owens Park.

I live right by the Shell garage so I go past every day. Unfortunately I can't see the original image for some reason, on an iPhone and I don't know if that makes any difference.

Worst comes to worst, I'll check in the morning.

Shit yeh you're right, the location looks legit. Only other possibility is that the picture is a blag photoshop effort.

If it's genuine, and we're having the ship, the rivers, 1894 and the rose, I think the badge is going to be an absolute disaster. It's the same guys designing it who made the Melbourne montrosity, so perhaps they'll follow the same template of "throw as much shit in the middle as you possibly can."

Could be part of the holistic approach by the club, they're following Pellegrini's lead of not learning from your mistakes maybe?
