Club Statement: Khadija Bunny Shaw

It's really sad when a high profile person feels the need to delete their social media accounts because of incidents like this. As an aging white bloke I can't imagine what she's going through but hope the club can support her and show the the outpouring of love that Bunny has had since.

Hopefully they can find those responsible for the worst of the abuse and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. Keep them un-named so they don't get their 15mins of fame but make them serve as an example of what could happen if anyone else is tempted to follow suit.

Found it slightly concerning that Taylor said yesterday that he hadn't had chance to speak to her properly about it yet. As her manager and given the abuse was directed at her following a match, I'd have thought he'd have made it a priority to check in on her.

Yeah and I don't want to appear to leveraging every single thing that goes wrong as a way of hating on Taylor, but I just think anyone's manager in a situation like this (football or otherwise) ought to be doing everything they can to offer support.

I certainly don't believe that his lack of urgency in the matter, displays a particularly good management style or approach .

Yes, although it’s far from the main issue here, as it reads that doesn’t reflect well on him does it, and kind of adds to what seems to be the perception of him that a few of us have?

Be that treatment of the academy girls or a succession of players leaving saying they didn't enjoy their time under Taylor. They should be in hyper aware around this kind of stuff. He's said a bit more today which made it sound a bit better but they should be really good on this stuff by now and it doesn't feel they are.

Yes . Shows a lack of people skills .On two points . One, that he should have been talking and listening to Bunny as a matter of course and , two , that he didn't realize that his statement yesterday would lay him open to suggestions of detachment .
