CM 01/02 Challenge

I have recently seen the FM2010 challenge, and feel a bit jealous of those guys. I don't really have the time to play the game fully, or have the computer to play it in windowed mode. Due to this, I am proposing that we start a Champ Manager 01/02 Challenge thread!
The game will run on any computer now (in windowed mode too), is a far quicker game than FM and is available for free.

That's it. No updated players or anything like that, just a challenge of the original game. Anybody up for it?

No problem, somebody should probably try and set conditions for the game or something, I'm not great at organisational stuff like that.

I used to have CM 01/02, dominated it, just got City in the prem and after that signing all the old world class players on frees and won everything year after year.

Doesn't work on my laptop now I have FM on it :s.

This should work to be honest, there's a work around for Vista systems if you Google it.

does the patch have all modern day players or will I have to rely on my memory as to who was shit etc in 2001?

I think I gave this game to a mate years ago and never got it back. I'll have a search through my champ man/FM box at home. I'd prefer to play 97/98 though!
