Coldplay - Glastonbury

Love them. Had tickets to go and see them at Old Trafford (cricket ground so thats acceptable) - was all set to be a great day as we'd beat Arsenal earlier in the day (Adebayorgate) and the weather was great, but my mother in law had to spoil it by inconsiderately having her 60th birthday that night and we were obliged to go to their house for the celebrations. Gutted as I've never seen them live

I have an irrational hatred of Coldplay. I really can't tell you why, they just hurt my ears and make me want to twat the radio.

The Scientist with the crowd singing is epic.

never listen much to there albums but really a fan of these live

They should be touring again in the next 12 months I'd imagine as they've a new album due out soon.

I was at that gig at LCCC but had had a fair few before the Arsenal game and then the other half sneaked a litre of vodka into the gig and by the time they came on I was wasted and only remember a couple of songs ;) Luckily I'd seen them at the MEN Arena the previous year and they were awesome.

-- Sat Jun 25, 2011 10:50 pm --

Make me want to slit my wrists, they really are depressing

You're getting mixed up with Elbow mate ;)

Watching Coldplay live is actually quite uplifting as the crowd tend to join in en masse for most of their songs.
