Coldplay or Radiohead?

Radiohead by a country mile. Coldplay aren't even in the same artistic league to Radiohead.

coldpays 1st lp is a classic but depressing, their 2nd is a classic by all accounts-IMO.their 3rd was a simple album and the last two i just never listened to. good band ,good tunes but nothing more.


coldplay- i cant even write anything nice about the tw@ts: if this was a two horse race basically coldplay are a three legged parabola pony running in the wrong direction!!!!

Both bands are rubbish imo. To say Radiohead are the modern Floyd is actually very funny, again, imo ofcourse.

Coldplay for me, I just find them easier on the ear. I would have to be in a certain mood to listen to Radiohead.

Almost 7 years on since I asked the question@dannyboy29 "musical stats / achievements". Bollocks to that nonsense, Coldplay may play more melodic pop tunes but Radiohead are in a different league as musicians.

Absolutely. Having a decent singer certainly helps.
In fact, I’ve yet to ever experience one of those “certain moods” to which you refer ;-)
