Cole Palmer

Good money, but I can’t understand why we didn’t insist on a buy back clause.

That might have been possible with a club like Wolves or Forest but that aint' happening with a Chelsea.

Too big of a football club to be potentially losing a star asset for less than the market would dictate.

Good luck to him. It’s certainly working out for him personally.

Good luck to him but I actually think it's worked out for everyone.

He gets more football. We get £50m.

We have Oscar Bobb who I think has settled into 1st team football far quicker than Cole did.

He may regret going to Chelsea under Boehly though, they're a mess.

It has and I don’t think he really would’ve thought he’s going there for trophies. His move would’ve been football time related with the knowledge he’s going to be set for life. A club as chaotic as Chelsea may deliver the odd cup, like this one, but not major ones.

It’s simply just been a worthwhile transfer for everyone concerned.
