Unless we get a good replacement it would be criminal to let him go at the moment as it will leave us very light.
All the wanting out appears to becoming from the player, that the issue.Unless we get a good replacement it would be criminal to let him go at the moment as it will leave us very light.

I've been thinking about Wednesdays game and the difference between Jack and Coles performances. They both put in good crosses but neither of them really attacked the line. Cole at least tried to get past his man in the 2nd half but in the 1st half both players also came inside, dribbled a bit and laid the ball back to either the full backs or midfielders so as not to lose possession. Their wasn't a huge difference in their performance really. Cole took a few more risks, Jack lost possession less. I'd keep him & play him as much as Mahrez got...at least till January.
Foden steller perfomance shows that he is finally able to play the role centrally to his best. Pep has been training him and we will see his paitence pay off.I think the main question with Palmer is his mentality……this situation has echoes of Sancho. He needs to be patient and back his own ability this season, the squad is fairly light even if we bring in another player that can play in his position/central mid. I question his mentality as answering the media questions in the way he did would have pissed Pep off and it’s like he’s trying to tell the club / Pep what to do.
I like him but if he’s not on board with Pep then get rid quick as possible!
