Yep but under pep here he wouldn't have developed into the player he looks like developing into now!

He's given so much freedom at Chelsea as he's the main man so doesnt have any defensive responsibility. The only player that Pep has ever give that same freedom was Messi so he would never have developed so much under him. Is Palmer at Messi level....don't think so.

Not sure it was quite so epic. Certainly short sighted - especially as it was clear to most, he had something more special than most.
