Cole Palmer

In hindsight a 12 month loan move would have been the best result for both Palmer and us. I hate seeing this kid rip it up at another club.
It happens, even Pep can’t make the correct call 100% of the time, I’m just thankful it’s Chelsea and not our other cast off club, Arse nil

There is more to it than just being a great player, which there is no denying he is.

A decent personality, the ability to get on with teammates, work ethic, empathy, social maturity, level-headedness, etc are all traits in players that help build a successful, cohesive team. Perhaps Cole just didn't fit the bill?

Is Gundo unfit or is it just purely age?

Even when he was at his absolute peak, he was a player who sometimes gave the impression of just getting by in the first half of the season and then come the championship rounds from about March until May, come out firing.

Obviously at 34, they’ll come a time in the not too distant future, when he looks for that extra gear, and it just isn’t there any more.

But I’m confident that time isn’t just yet. Expecting him to play a big part in the second half of the season.
