Colin Bell RIP - Ian Cheeseman interview with Jon Bell (P142)

What a player. What a man. Colin Bell is the reason that I started to support City in the 60s. I wanted to be him. I was so thrilled to see him walk on the pitch when we won the premiership under bobby mancini in the on field parade pre the trophy lifting. All the very best for a speedy and successful recovery Colin.

Bity of old footage here from an eventful Manchester derby back in August, 1968 , all the big names from either side are there ..... We were the First Division Champions , and they had won the European Cup ... the match fitself somehow finishes 0-0 , but there's a disallowed City goal , Buzzer gets into trouble wit the ref for a naughty tackle ... and Colin Bell almost wins it for us, but strikes the post!

Who's the shit rag number 7 ?

Was shocked to hear Colin was in hospital for this amount of time. He always seems so fit and healthy when I’ve seen him in the hospitalit sections.
Glad to hear he is now out.
