Colin Rosler

Uwe named him after Colin Bell. And he named another son Tony, after Booky. He really took to us in his relatively short time with us. It'd be great if we could find some sort of role for Uwe at the club. Maybe in the Academy? Or perhaps in the hospitality side of things (the meeting and greeting of guests on matchdays).

Is Uwe still managing somewhere? If he's out of a job it'd be nice to give him a role at the club

I think he's out of work at the moment. Wasn't L**ds his last job?

Yep that's correct. But who knows, maybe he doesn't want to be involved while his son is coming through the ranks. Understandable, conflict of interest and all that

He did some panelist work for with TV 3 in Ireland for the euros and it was a pleasure to get his take on players and teams.
Not the usual anti-City bias.

on the OS, he is listed as a Norwegian. Is that Mrs R's nationality? Is it a sign of low ambition to choose Norway over Germany as your footballing nationality?

Uwe's wife is Norwegian but Colin Rosler has actually represented England and Norway at youth level. Probably just feels more Norwegian than German. He'll still be eligible for England, Norway and Germany at senior level.

Actually, that looks accurate. He grew up in Norway and only moved when 10, he feels more Norwegian and seems to have pinned his colours to Norway from now on. You'll need to let Google translate do it's magic but it works very well in this case: http://www.dagbladet.no/sport/city-...-den-ene-er-a-folge-i-farens-fotspor/60269256

Just typical of so many posters on here to look for any negativity when assessing our young players.
