100% disagree. Toure (Kolo) was great for Arsenal pre malaria. His first season for us was ok, no better no worse. Since then he has been shite and a liability. Whilst he's not on the Savic blunder level you still always feel there is a mistake in him, he's constantly caught out of position leaving big holes in the back 4. Whilst I don't think Coliccini is amazing, he's considerably better than Kolo Toure. Id take Coliccini as a back up centre back but I wouldn't pay more than 8 million or so but I think Newcastle would want double that.
Agree that Kolo's presence keeps Yaya happy though so id still keep him if he wanted to stay, put him on for carling cup games and what not.

Did he Retire from Argentina? Serious question. With the amount of defensive problems they have its odd he doesn't get a call. The guy should be starting in my opinion, just wondering if anyone knew why he isn't even there for WC qualifiers at the moment

He would be one hell of a backup CB and its not that hard to think why he'd want to come here even though newcastle have just had a fantastic season. If kolo still wants out then i'd have him as a replacement in a flash.

Has anybody thought that maybe Bobbymanc is building a little argentinian community @ City ? in order to be able to tempt MESSI over to Manchester in the near future . Tevez , Aguero , Zabaleta and now linked to Coloccini ( who I do rate as a TOP CLASS defender ) Di - Maria and Lavezzi not too far back . Bobby must see that Barca is centered around having many Spanish internationals and is trying to replicate that by getting together a core of one of the top nations players ( Argentina ) I believe this will help CITY land MESSI in the near future as he must feel isolated from the spanish team spirit within the squad at Barca , if not we must be able to tempt him we have all the tools to do it .
