I broke my colonoscopy virginity about 6 weeks ago.
Not as bad as I’d feared. It’s uncomfortable as they navigate through the bends, but gas and air sorted me out ok.
The 2 pints of salty Lilt they give you to clear you out is far worse than the procedure.

Yeah I had 3 sachets of Picoprep.I broke my colonoscopy virginity about 6 weeks ago.

I did enjoy getting home and telling the wife that the doctor has ordered me to fart as much as possible for the rest of the day.

I didn’t stay for my cuppa. NHS brews aren’t worth waiting for.Already looking forward to the coffee and sarny they give you after the procedure. ;)

Yes, anyone at that age who doesn’t is stupid. Forget the embarrassment, it’s like a production line, get over yourself and get checked out, could well save your life
