Commentary | Aston Villa away (pg 14)

Then 4k?

We fucked sky off before that really got going but I would presume they charge extra for 4k.
I get BT sport for peanuts because I have their phone and broadband deal. BT do a package including SKY football via NowTV which is all included. It is all 4K apart from the SKY football.

I have BT for the same reason phone/broadband and a cheap deal on the TV side, I don't do the NOW tv though, think I have bought 2 City games in the past but had a deal to do so.

It was like a breath of fresh air last night, which begs the question... Why is there such a torrent of negativity about City on ALL of the other broadcast channels? The agenda is real, SKY, BBC & BT do it deliberately.

Hopefully Amazon and maybe DAZN will be the disruptors that the whole thing needs. I'm looking forward to the day I can buy a club season ticket covering all our games with neutral commentary & pundits.

Never mind the commentary, what about the picture and sound!
I was watching with a good internet speed via an LG OLED TV using the built in Amazon app.

Considering this was a streaming service match, you would think it would be compressed to hell.
Just the opposite. The detail and colours were spot on. The sound was great if a little bass heavy.
My missus commented on how you could see drops of water on the individual blades of grass!

Even the crowd noise was nice and loud lending to a truer match experience.
If i had to be critical, i don't think the crowd noise was relevant to what was happening on screen like BT and SKY.
Just after we scored our third, the Everton fans seemed way to happy!

Love McCoist. Such an enthusiasm for football and rather than slate poor passes or focus on the negatives he's positive about all aspects of play - a glass half full type of character and that's really refreshing to hear.

Just concentrates on the game in front of him.

Another one who has surprised me recently is Robbie Savage. He's been really good to listen to, jokes about his own ability and tends to cream his pants at a lot of our play.

What was also refreshing was that they analysed the game properly. They understood City's formation and were quick to notice changes in tactics as the game progressed. No stupid rambling comments, no snide jibes, no fixation on the cost of our players.
The only issue I had was they kept saying Everton did well. To be honest I thought Everton were dire. To have a player as bad as Tom Davies on the field is like playing with ten men and you could say the same about Docoure. The Amazon coverage was much better than Sky.
tom ikick'm Davies was only playing for one reason and lack of bookings helped
