I don't think a ground where you have to compulsary change trains is convenient tbh, no matter the KO time, it's different if you are off to london, norwich etc and you organise split routes to save money.

Also I have had a look and trains are £56rtn, leeds are £17.40- £19.80rtn and birmingham £34, as part of the line the FA have come.put with is after the semi they didn't want fans inconvenienced then then picked the most expensive trip outside the south.
Not great at all, of course brum and leeds would be miles better. In an ideal world 3pm Leeds. All i mean is that if they are being awkward with the stadium they could at least give us more time to get home which would alleviate some of the awkwardness

Leicester isn’t ideal. Bit of a shit place to get to by train. But we’ve no idea what other grounds were available. I’m presuming the league starts the following week, so probably every team will have a friendly that weekend.

Plenty of them will be at home you’d imagine, ruling them out. Others might be doing work on the ground/ pitch and not want a game the week before the season starts. Others might just not want it regardless.

It’s not really fair to criticise unless you know the full list of alternatives.

Any recommendations for hotels please
We've booked in at South fork guest house ( Leicester not Dallas)
Not far from ground with free parking and English breckers.
Stayed there before, Ok for the price at 40 odd quid for twin rooms.

Expect most insurance companies wouldn’t like inviting thousands of scousers to a neutral game with only a week to examine authorise and repair the damage they invariably cause either.

Wonder where they will set up their anfield wrap boss night tent along with any **** who owns a guitar
