Confused

firstly sorry for another thread....

but before the new season started the chairman released an interview on the website, and he said that our target this season would be to finsh in the top 6 and to go as far as possible in a cup, now it seems to me that we are 6th and we are as far as we can be in a cup, yet the chairman decides to sack hughes...

and you wonder why the players are pissed off!

I honestly don't care that (some) players are pissed off. Before they go running to the chairman or whoever they should take a long, hard look at themselves - they are just as responsible for the sacking as Mark Hughes is. He made mistakes and the players made mistakes - the only ones who haven't are the board because they didn't appoint Hughes yet backed him to the fucking hilt for longer than they really should have.

Yet they get all this shit on here? The mind boggles.

Excellent point. A number of the players who are reportedly opposed to the sacking could've/should've done a hell of a lot more to prevent it.

but they achieved so far what the chairman said he 'wanted' so surely the players should be pissed off.
