Congratulations

I didn't expect anything else. The fact that he was so well received by the City faithful last night proves what everybody's been saying for decades and decades: we really are the best supporters in the land.

I had a tit asking me, my mates and anyone that would listen that were all fucking stupid! He was saying he doesnt play for us anymore, he has just scored, do you think he cares about us etc etc he was a proper dick. I was going to explain he has given virtually all his career to our club through thin and thin, he didnt wanna leave but repected his decision to go for first team football but i didnt want to waste my breath!

Well done blues Dunnie must have been gob smacked!

I was in the stand opposite the city fans, when the applause for dunny happend a lot of the villa fans took note and started commenting how good fans we were

Now he owes us an own goal back at CoMS!

Lot of respect for Dunnie, well done those who attended for applauding. Bet those Villa fans waving the fake notes at Barry are feeling pretty low this morning - two very different reactions to former heroes.

Now don't get me wrong, I respect Dunnie to the hilt and don't have a bad word to say about him.

I love the way he did not celebrate and equally the applause he got from us after hes scored.

However, to the start chanting his name after the goal is just wrong. Regardless of how much we still love the guy, he had just scored for the opposition!
