Does anyone know what sort of lead i'd need to do this?

Connecting a laptop to a Mixing Desk

not bad them.
if you have the money go for the digidesign stuff, with protools editing suits .. there top of the range and are superb
but is money is tight all you need is 2, 3/4jack stereo to phono ( i have made somthing like it for my ipod) that will give you your audio in and out of your laptop. (in to record stuff, out if you want to play samples)
if you want 2 leads knocking up give us a shout and i'll see what i can do.

Cheers for the advice fella's but I think i've got my terminology wrong. What I want is a cable to connect my laptop to a sound desk for DJ'ing with. What would I need for that?

That's what I use but got mine from Maplins for about £2
