i thought it was a fair point, made in a light hearted way. I didnt mean to imply that DD's original post was meant as mindless racial abuse, sorry about that. I guess I'm not as comfortable with all of this as some of you. yep, pulling the thread was an over-reaction to something obviously meant as a joke. but it was a little too near the knuckle for my liking, even if it was a joke with many levels. I am Peter Kenyon. some of you will have heard of me - I work for Chelsea FC but am a City supporter. I was very worried this morning when URG posted that he had heard that Terry would make things clearer later today. He clearly has a good source and I was worried that the news of JT's departure was going to leak. So I made some comments up which I knew were inflammatory to get people off the scent. It worked a dream and the thread got removed!

That's my cover blown but at least noone will call me a racist any more.

It claims that garry cook chose umbro as part of his plan to make city the best known british club in the world. Umbro have merchandising rights over JT and the england squad and all parties believe such a deal would be benificial to all parties.
