Hi my fellow blue has had his seasoncard cancelled by city because there has been an issue with his direct debit. He has been down to all the home games but for some reason his ticket on his phone for Chelsea (in Jan) game did not work in Jan. (he had ticket on phone) The head steward let him in. Not thinking anything of it but a female came up and said he was in her seat but obviously when he showed his ticket on phone to her there was no issues as she sat in a space. He then called customer services and they have now sold his seat (which is next to his dads) for the rest of the season and told him he has to join the season card waiting list next season. They said he had cancelled his direct debit. His dad is 70 and travels to every home game and they will not give him his seat back. Does anyone know a contact he could call or email to try and resolve this. The person on other end of phone just said there was nothing they could do. Surely there must be summit they can do. I know a few names have been mentioned on here to contact. Any help would be grateful
 
Try Danny Wilson (managing director - operations) and/or Lisa Eaton (supporter liaison officer). No personal dealings with either but have been good reports here regarding them sorting stuff out quite effectively.

Good luck with this - sounds like a grim situation that can hopefully be put right relatively easily. Has your mate been in touch with his bank about this? It may be helpful to have something in writing confirming that he hadn’t cancelled the direct debit as far as they’re concerned.
 
Nothing surprises me anymore now with city and tickets. Its disgraceful how they deal with us there customers. CTID

Thanks for the update. I’ve (fortunately) not had to deal with the club personally about something like this for many years so was just passing on what I thought was current info.

Unless his season card was in the tunnel club or corporate, the club won't care one bit.

Us peasants are replaceable with less jaded tourists.
 
Had a problem for the Fulham game. Daughter, son and me all in the cup sheme. We got emails saying her payment hadn't gone through whilst nthe other two had (my card).
Changed it online - still getting emails saying not paid. Changed it over the phone, was told everything ok - still getting emails. Tried again to phine but couldn't get through. Luckily for her, my son got covid and couldn't go, so she used hers.
Just got through again. The girl on the phone didn't seem to confident the issue was resolved.
Most aspect of matchday seem to be a shitshow. Definately something wrong with the payment system.

I had that for PSG game. Didn’t change card. 2 more declines. Then eventually it went through. My bank told me it’s a problem at City’s end with meeting updated card security measures. Sometimes it will be flagged and declined. Others slip through.
