So the Copa America has come around again, opening game is tonight/tomorrow morning, only a years break from the last one because they wanted a 100 year anniversary tournament. Hopefully from now on it always falls during the same year as the Euro's (Edit: Upon checking: it doesn't, the next ones in 3 years). Travelling isn't as bad this year with the tournament based in the US. I don't know how much interest there is on here about it but its competitive football right? Only a few noteworthy games in the groups though.

We only have 2 players involved, Aguero & Otamendi, I don't know whether that means cheers them on or get them out early and home unscathed, particularly Kun. For me I hope he has a good tournament but if he's not on it, then he may struggle to get a game given the form of the other Argentine strikers. Surprised Fernandinho wasn't even picked, obviously not favoured by returning coach, Dunga, unless he's in the Olympic Squad.

Just rechecked, I remember watching it but can't believe it was only a year ago, seems daft, they should of just delayed last years. I think i'll be grimacing at every tackle on Sergio and every sprint he goes on.

I'm really excited that the USA, Mexico, and Costa Rica are at the party this year. It's going to be a stacked tournament. Right off the bat we face a very stern test in Colombia. I can't see us getting out of the group but I hope I'm wrong. Should be very entertaining.

Neymar won't be there either because Brazil is saving him for the Olympics, which they want to win on home soil at the expense of this tournament, which they won't win.
