Corinthians make 35 million bid for tevez (MERGED)

I would take it now, add the €10m or so and show it to Atletico this afternoon.

This could be the start of firm Aguero action. And judging from his game last night, he would be perfect.

Still cant understand how Corinthians are going to spunk up that amount of cash?????
BIG TV deal they signed over there, worth about £50m a season extra to them.

At the end of the day we set a £50m price tag, why would we accept £15m less just because its a non-European club, and why should we too? £45m minimum, or £40m and add ons. £35m from £50 set fee would look weak.

Because we will risk having to keep a player who does not want to be here and will be worth even less in the next window....
Well then the buying club will have to worry about that, we're in a position where we don't need to do so, look at Ade, Bellers etc. We can afford to put Tevez amongst that lot if no-ones meets, or nears the asking price. £15m less than the listed price is way too much. I'd be a bit annoyed at £40m, but at least that looks better than £35m. As a cash purchase goes we shouldn't be accepting less than £45m if indeed the club value him at £50m. The Brazilian transfer deadline ends in 10 days anyway, so I guess it will move fast whatever happens, I just hope we don't pussy out and accept £35m after publicly saying we won't accept less than £50m.

Do we take £35m for Tevez now and go all out for Aguero, or do we wait until someone comes in with a £40m bid and THEN go for Aguero?

Personally, I'd hope we negotiated the fee up to £40m quid, then fax our £40m offer to Athletico straight away for Aguero.
He is the perfect replacement for Tevez and I consider him better and more suited to the way we play.
Tevez is selfish, but can't thank him enough for the performances on the pitch.

Adios Tevez.

its amazing how people can believe that a brasilian club could pay some figures. amazing.

Tevez hasn't wanted to be here for over a year now; his feelings are irrelevant as long as his performance on the pitch does not suffer. I think Tevez is incapable of not giving 100% on the field of play at all times...

Tevez was off form since December when he handed in his first transfer Request.

I think it would be detrimental to the entire team to force him to stay.
