Coronation of King Charles 3rd

I'm not watching it. I'm overseas, just enjoying the bootlicking, fawning and English exceptionalism on this thread from afar.

Can't see anything of note from any of your posts though. Could have bothered to have an opinion just for one day Mr Bland.
Quick question then; if (as you say), you're not watching it, why are my comments bothering you? Have I dine something to annoy you personally?

Not really. The Crown Estate pays for everything. I’d be happy with no civil list and they get 100% of the income back on that estate. So would they as they’d be £4bn up per year.

No wait, I haven’t thought this through.

What are the different rules, i had a mate lose his mum in a car crash when he was 13, made him grow up fast, brought up by his nana. His parents had split up when he was in primary school. As you say no other kid was in their situation, but for anyone losing a parent in their early years must be devastating. But i also know families ripped apart by drugs and incest.

Unfortunately life is imperfect, people often let down those they are meant to support and protect.
Fair play, I'm not belittling those horrible instances you mention. However, these kids had the most famous parents in the world. Same scenario, but completely different aftermath.
