Incorrect. You pay the BBC licence fee and don’t have a day in the matter. The significant difference is the the money is recouped from tourism to fund the Royal FamilyAlthough People get more of a choice if they pay for Eastenders and it isn't on every channel and fortunately there isn't as many grief junkies when a character dies.
