The Guardian article detailing the increased rate of vaccinations says that the expectation is that all adults will have received at least one dose before the start of June. No mention of the AZ supply from Serum in India but they say Pfizer will increase and a suggestion that Moderna could be on stream in early April.

It's looking better and better.

It won't be the last time.
I was surprised too. But then if the Indian government ministers are declining to have AZ as other reports claim then they are not innocent in creating this situation.

Still not updated anything at Gov UK, Their estimate for sorting this was 5 pm nearly 3 hours ago so obviously more serious than turning it off and then back on again.

Might end up being the morning now.

I was surprised because of the reputation of the Indian pharma industry for quality - often western firms shy away from it after many reports of failed inspections. Particularly important for sterile manufacturing such as vaccines.


Hence the audit reported above. Interesting times.
