nope - lad sat In his room for another ten days!
Is the correct answer. I’ve read the DfE guidance and it states exactly this. If lateral flow was administered in school by health professionals and returns positive it means that kid and all his / her classmates isolate for ten days. Just like our lads must now do.

Genuine question - Is this re-opening of schools, before the people you're re-exposing to virus are vaccinated, going to look a massive mistake in a fortnight's time ?

And yes I agree children are our priority; it's been great seeing mums and dads walking their children back to school this week.

People over 40 in the uk will be offered their first coronavirus vaccination by Easter on April 4 as a boost in supplys will allow rapid expansion of the inoculation program, the telegraph reported on Friday, citing a senior government source... Happy Easter blues
Most of the media are saying by the 10th June, including the Times and the BBC

It is a risk - yes - but a well judged and necessary step, because missing a year of schooling will damage 50 years of children's futures. We may even have to extend the schooling of the current generation by six months - perhaps by reducing Summer holidays by a week or two in the next few years.

This gamble was deliberately well timed as the Easter break is here soon and by then we will have a good idea of how much increase in cases is occurring from the return and if it settles after a week or two as it ought to do and see if the natural break that then comes slows things down and gives time to judge whether to delay return and extend the school year into the Summer instead if no other option.

I trained as a teacher (though never became one full time after that as I got 'distracted' by other things) but we cannot let our children's education pay for this pandemic. We will regret it for the next 20 years if we do.

I think it will be OK, though it's impossible to be certain.

Vulnerable teachers have been vaccinated, at least with one shot (vulnerable everybody has been).

Cases are relatively low, so current risk of infection is low.

The R number was significantly below one, so even reopening schools may not increase it above one.

Every day, more people are protected, and both R and the fatality rate drop further as a result.

There's a natural circuit breaker with the Easter hols coming.

It is not without some risk, to children, teachers and society but doesn't seem unreasonable.

Literally makes no sense whatsoever. Any chance of having a go at the question?
Okay i will try, first off, apologies that you do not understand, if you have a product that will raise billions you need to get it on the market first, you need to create a market often through freebies and you need to develop repeat customers. what Britain has lost through closure is in line with other Countries we have lost nothing on our competitors. does that help?
Now can you answer the questions i raised?
