no false lateral flow test positives from thw School Children.
As we suggested earlier in here today the school testing will be down at the weekends and so this kind of fall was to be expected. Though we will not learn testing numbers until tomorrow they are likely to be sub 1 million I expect.

Have no idea why they collate all the other data but have never cared about the testing number over the weekend that Scotland, Wales and N Ireland have no problem posting 7 days a week.@

Indeed over the weekend they do not update the now two key data pieces in England - hospital numbers and testing to create the positivity number.

Utterly bizarre for such a comprehensive site. Especially as the hospital data is easy to find and I am sure the other data is collated for England 7 days a week as it is for the other nations.

Regional Summary:

Everywhere down but the North West by just 7. By far the least today.

Though Yorkshire stays the highest region despite falling by 126.

Unfortunately, Greater Manchester went UP today by 15 to 317.

Enough to take its % of the NW back over 50 to 51.4% after falling to its 2021 low yesterday,

In GM Bolton, Salford, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford all go up.

Tameside was the biggest increase - by 23 to 41.

Bolton was up by 15 to 39, Stockport by 15 to 38, Salford by 4 to 36.

Trafford was up by just 2 to 11. And shared lowest score on 11 with Bury who fell from 16.

The other four boroughs fell day to day:

Rochdale the most - by 19 to 22.

Manchester dropped 16 to 59 as top scorer ahead of Tameside in second.

Wigan fell by 3 to 29 and Oldham by 1 to 31.

Week to week Bolton (by 4), Bury (by 9), Rochdale (by 2) Salford (by 2) fell marginally

Wigan (by 17) and Trafford (by 13) fell with more significant drops in their weekly Pop.

Manchester stayed at 59 cases week to week.

The other 3 boroughs - Oldham, Stockport and Tameside were up week to week.

But Tameside was up just 4 wk to wk and the other two by even less. So minimal impact.
