And worth adding that when the guy said 'political', he probably meant 'decided by politicians' i.e. nothing sinister.

You need to get over your obsession with painting anything EU related in a bad light because of your Brexit stance. We all know they’ve done a poor job with their vaccine rollout and it seems very likely they’ve overreacted with the AZ issue, but repeating this nonsense about them having done it to somehow have a dig at the UK is a bit pathetic.

Just seen itv news. Same number of blood clots in Pfizer as in AZ vaccinated people. With 37 reports in 11million people, when normally you would get 200 cases. Other European countries decided they had no choice but to suspend the roll out based soley on Germanys decision lol, ignoring the EMA advice, the WHO advice and even their own data, as they have had much fewer or no cases of clots themselves. They did this they said to try and put more faith in the AZ vaccine long term, as it was untennable to expect their citizens to take the AZ vaccine, while Germany had paused?! For citizens perhaps we should use the word sheep?

Anybody can easily work out that this decision will be a disaster for these countries vaccination programme. But lets just sweep that little detail aside.

It's not JUST the number of clots, though. It will be a number of factors such as ages and pre-existing conditions of those affected, the type of clots, the duration between vaccination and the clot developing and possibly other things.
